Integrated quality and environmental policy

Starting from a fundamental choice to make quality and environmental protection key determinants for the services entailed in the company’s plastic molding activities, Ferracin Group srl has decided to draw up a corporate Integrated Quality and Environmental Policy. This Integrated Policy is closely adhered to and represents a constant reference for all company activities. As a tool enabling the achievement and maintenance of a high level of Quality and Environmental Sustainability, the company has adopted an Integrated Management System (IMS) which complies with UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 standards, suitably focused on the achievement of the goals indicated in this Document and the on-going improvement of the IMS itself. In particular, the Quality and Environmental goals pursued by FERRACIN GROUP SRL are:

  • The improvement of the image and reputation in the market, leading to an increase in the number of clients, increase in turnover, increase in territorial penetration and entrance into new market areas
  • To affirm and consolidate a close working collaboration with current and potential clients, reinforcing the client-supplier relationship
  • To provide structures and procedures that ensure respect for the environment and guarantee workplace safety in accordance with the legislative regulations/decrees in force
  • To ensure company profit for reinvestment in growing know-how in innovation and implementation of new procedures and operative processes, with detailed attention to client need and satisfaction in order to guarantee the competitivity of the company in the market. To use processes, technologies, products and procedures aimed at the prevention of pollution, specifically committing to control of consumption of energy and water resources connected to the production process
  • Set supplier selection criteria based on their sensitivity towards environmental sustainability, with the goal of optimising the life cycle of their product
  • To identify its significant environmental aspects and their associated impacts, updated the company when necessary
  • To foster the professional growth of its staff, ensuring that they receive the necessary training and appropriate qualifications, in order to provide an organisational structure and human resources that are always ready to meet the needs of the company and the market
  • Selection, evaluation and qualification of suppliers of raw materials/services with the goal of obtaining quality supplies that are reliable over time
  • Involvement of personnel, both internal and external, considered an essential resource and inexhaustible source of drive to improvement, system control and regulatory compliance
  • To guarantee continuous monitoring of the effectiveness and efficiency of the system, aimed at achieving pre-set objectives of Quality and Environment, ensuring suitability and adequacy of the Management System over time
  • Providing resources, financial means and skills, to designate powers and responsibilities ad to define the procedures necessary for the proper and effective function of the Environmental Management System
  • To promote the awareness and involvement of all staff in the reduction of their environmental impact with suitable and continuous information and training
  • To use processes, technologies, products and procedures aimed at preventing pollution
  • The achievement of these goals must be the priority of the entire company, and it is the direct responsibility of the IQS (Integrated Quality Management) Manager, who ensures implementation and the regular verification of the suitability of the system
  • Compliance with existing legislation is one of the requirements of the laws and regulations in force, such as: adoption and use of personal protection equipment, adoption and compliance with occupational safety protections, adoption of methods and procedures for protection of the environment
  • Staff involvement is a fundamental condition for continuous improvement of company performance, including active participation in training and regular meetings, creation of critical skill processes with the achievement of assigned objectives, timely communication of any problems encountered, following the provisions of the system documentation
